Overview and Responsibilities

We are seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join Aurora Rowan School in Tokers Green, Reading. The role involves supporting the Class Teacher in the daily running of the class, teaching whole classes, groups, and individuals, and deputising in the teacher's absence. The ideal candidate will have relevant qualifications, experience with SEN, and a commitment to supporting children with Autism spectrum disorder and learning needs.

Part of The Aurora Group, the school supports young people aged 6+ with Autism and moderate to severe learning needs. We focus on providing a caring, inclusive environment that promotes the development of the whole child and prepares them for adult life.
