Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) in Portsmouth!

Contract: Full-Time, Term-Time Only

Salary: Competitive, based on experience and qualifications

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging lessons across various subjects, supporting students' learning and development.
  • Collaborate with teachers to plan and implement effective educational strategies.
  • Provide targeted support to students with diverse learning needs, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
  • Assist in assessing student progress and maintaining accurate records.
  • Contribute to creating a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.

Requirements:

  • HLTA qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience working within a school setting, preferably in a similar role.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A proactive and flexible approach to supporting teaching and learning.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
