Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd in Portsmouth is seeking a motivated Learning Support Assistant to join our Learning Support Department, supporting pupils aged 11-16 and helping them achieve their academic progress.

The successful candidate will hold a Level 2 or higher childcare qualification, have strong communication, literacy and numeracy, with ICT skills desirable and at least two years’ experience with children, preferably in an education setting.

What skills and experience we're looking for

The candidate will be part of the Learning Support Department.

You will need to hold a relevant Level 2 or higher childcare qualification, have good communication skills and excellent literacy and numeracy skills (GCSE or equivalent, Grade C or above). Good ICT skills would also be desirable and at least two years’ experience working with children, preferably within an education setting. The role is term time only.
