Job Description:

Prospero Teaching is looking for a committed and professional Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) for a position starting ASAP at a wonderful primary school.

Ideally, the perfect candidates would have previous experience as an HLTA and have strong confidence in leading sessions. Experience working with SEN/SEND children is also desirable. The role could be based in both mainstream and special education schools, including learning resource bases (LRBs) within mainstream education and some profound multiple learning difficulties (PMLD) schools. Any additional training or people handling experience would be beneficial but not essential.

• Type of work – Support in all aspects of learning, aiding those with additional needs

• Minimum rate of pay – £ per day
• Hours – 8:30 am – 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday (term time only)

Experience, Training, and Qualifications

• Experience working with children/adults with additional needs
• Up-to-date Safeguarding and Prevent training within the last year
• The candidate should be quite sporty and willing to take children out of lessons to play from time to time
