Job summary

The Witherslack Group is seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to support pupils with SEND at Hall Cliffe School, a specialist secondary setting within our group.

You will work with children with ADHD, Autism, Asperger’s and SEMH, helping them learn, develop their abilities and raise their self-esteem. You will be supported by a team of colleagues and work in well‑resourced environments.

Qualifications

• Significant experience as a Teaching Assistant.
• NVQ Level 3 and HLTA qualification or equivalent.
• Ability to plan meetings and liaise with teachers to devise learning activities.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with diverse needs during lessons and activities.
• Help learners develop their abilities and raise self-esteem.
