Job summary

Witherslack Group Ltd is recruiting a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to support pupils with ASD/SEMH needs in Horbury. You will help learners develop skills, raise self-esteem and work closely with teaching staff to deliver engaging activities.

This role requires resilience, a strong commitment to safeguarding, and a willingness to participate in a full induction and ongoing training. A contributory pension and excellent benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Significant experience as a Teaching Assistant.
• Must hold NVQ Level 3 and HLTA qualification or equivalent.
• Ability to support pupils with ASD/ SEMH needs and raise self-esteem.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder and SEMH to learn and develop abilities.
• Help raise pupils' self-esteem and confidence through learning activities.
• Collaborate with teachers to plan and deliver learning activities.
• Maintain safeguarding standards and DBS checks as required.
