Job Description:

Teaching Tomorrow, a reliable and popular education agency specialists, are supporting a number of Leighton Buzzard/ Dunstable based schools with the recruit of experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTA), to start immediately or from September.

Here at Teaching Tomorrow we understand the importance and positive impact HLTAs make in the classroom and feel they are as fundamental as the class teacher. Now working with a number of schools looking for key stage 3 HLTAs, Teaching Tomorrow are keen to connect with experienced support staff looking for a longer term, full time role.

The ideal HLTA will have previous experience working within a school setting, committed to the individual they are supporting and the keenness to go the extra mile, helping them to navigate their educational journey and achieve their full potential. Previous SEND, 1-2-1 and small group experience would be desirable, but not essential.

Requirements:

- Previous experience working as a HLTA or LSA,
- Relevant qualifications in education, childcare, or special education (e.g., CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools),
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents,
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children with diverse learning needs,
- Ability to adapt to the individual needs and learning styles of students,
- A commitment to continuous professional development and learning.
