Salary: £24,790 FTE pro rata (NJC Grade 5 actual salary £19,127)
Hours: 32.5 per week, term time only (39 weeks/year)

In this part-time, permanent role, you will lead small groups, support classroom teaching, assist with curriculum planning and preparation, and assess pupil progress. Requirements
Only candidates with the essential criteria and proven UK school experience will be considered.

  • Formal HLTA qualification or equivalent experience

  • GCSEs in English and Maths (or NVQ Level 2 equivalent)

  • Experience working with children in a UK school, including those with additional needs

  • Ability to plan, deliver lessons, manage behaviour, and provide feedback

  • Understanding of child development, curriculum planning, and safeguarding practices

  • An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for a new one
