Higher Level Teaching Assistant - Dance, Gymnastics & Classroom Support - Primary School in Greenwich - ASAP Start

A vibrant and forward-thinking primary school in Greenwich is seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team after the Easter break. This dynamic role combines leading Dance and Gymnastics sessions across the school with providing targeted classroom support in a Lower KS2 setting.

Higher Level Teaching Assistant - Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Dance and Gymnastics lessons during allocated PE slots.
• Provide Higher Level Teaching Assiatnt-level support in the classroom, including small group work, interventions, and occasional whole-class cover when needed.
• Work collaboratively with class teachers to support academic, physical, and social development of pupils.
• Assist with lesson preparation, behavioural support, and classroom organisation.
  
  

Higher Level Teaching Assistant - Ideal Candidate

• Must hold Higher Level Teaching Assistant status or be experienced in a similar capacity with confidence leading sessions.
• A background in Dance, Gymnastics, or movement-led education is highly desirable.
• Able to manage classroom dynamics and deliver engaging content to groups of pupils.
