Job summary

Harris Academy Tottenham is seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to support learning in the primary phase. The role involves assisting with classroom activities, addressing diverse learning needs, and helping students access the curriculum during the 38-week year.

The post offers a salary of £26,307.67–£27,853.84 per year (37.5 hours per week, 38 weeks per year). Applicants should have GCSE English/Maths at C/4 or above, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, and relevant TA experience.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths at Grade C/4 or above is required.
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
• Knowledge of a range of learning barriers, including special needs.
• Experience contributing to and assessing provision for children with a range of needs.
• Some knowledge of the social issues facing students from disadvantaged backgrounds.
• At least two years' school based experience as a TA, or equivalent.
