Pay Rate: £90 to £130 per day (Depending on experience)

About the Role

As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting teaching and learning across the school. You’ll work closely with teachers to plan and deliver engaging lessons, lead small group and whole-class activities, and provide targeted interventions to help students thrive. Key Responsibilities of Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)

• Support teachers in planning and delivering high-quality lessons tailored to individual student needs.
• Lead small group and whole-class teaching sessions under the guidance of teaching staff.
• Deliver targeted interventions to support academic progress and personal development.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to teachers and contributing to reports.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
• Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and other professionals to support students with additional needs.
• Uphold high standards of behaviour and promote a culture of respect and achievement.

Requirements of Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)

• Previous experience as a primary HLTA or Teaching Assistant with relevant qualifications.
• HLTA status or equivalent training is highly desirable.
• Strong communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• A genuine passion for education and student development.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
