Salary: Scale 12 : 17 A GBP 27,711 : A GBP 30,060 FTE per annum, A GBP 20,936 : A GBP 23,116 pro rata including an allowance for holiday pay

Vacancy Type: Permanent, term time plus one week, 32.5 hours a week

The Primary School is a member of the Education Trust. The Trust is an expanding multi-academy trust with 13 primary and 9 secondary schools.

The Role

They are looking for a hardworking and enthusiastic person with high standards and the ability to communicate and interact effectively with others as part of their school as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant.

The Primary School is looking to appoint an individual who is passionate about teaching and learning and building meaningful relationships with children and staff. They are a school built on kindness, providing a holistic and values-led education with relationships, wellbeing, and belonging standing front and centre in all they do.

Their HLTAs are highly valued and will have the opportunity to work in a small team on planning and resourcing lessons. They will be supported with detailed curriculum guidance, schemes of work, plans, and resources. They will have PPA and will be supported by their class teachers and Deputy Head.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work as a Teaching Assistant or Higher Level Teaching Assistant across the school.
  • As an HLTA, plan, prepare, and deliver lessons to pupils, and monitor and assess standards of individuals.
