Job description

HLTA with experience of Additional Needs including ASC, SEMH, and ADHD

Pay – £85 - £100

Location – Gosport

Hours - 8am – 3.30pm, full-time

Start – September 2025

HLTA – Primary School in the wider Fareham area

Are you an HLTA with extensive knowledge? Do you want more responsibility in running a resourced provision? Do you have excellent experience with additional needs? Why not join Supply Desk?

We are currently working closely with a “Good” school looking for an HLTA to run an inclusion provision from September 2025 with 2-3 children. There will be a handover period before September, allowing you to get to know the children in your care.

Are you able to:

  • Work with children with additional needs
  • Be extremely resilient
  • Support children’s learning and development inside and outside the classroom
  • Complete some whole-class teaching
  • Mark and help prepare resources for follow-on lessons
  • Promote and encourage good behaviour

If you answered “yes” to these, we want you! Your skills are in demand throughout Hampshire, and we can offer flexible employment to suit your needs.

The minimum requirements for this HLTA role are:

  • HLTA qualification or a degree in childhood education
  • The right to work in the UK
  • Two years’ worth of references
  • A current DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one
