£18,000-£23,000 Per annum - Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications

The role and school

Starting September 2024, as a HLTA you should be highly skilled with good knowledge of specific aspects of the curriculum. You will provide high-level support to the class in your care. Flexibility is expected as you will work across EY, KS1, and KS2. Responsibilities include working 1:1 and in small groups, ensuring pupils understand the work set, covering classes, PPA, and planning and teaching your own lessons. Requirements

Minimum requirements for the Higher-Level Teaching Assistant position include:

• Ability to observe, assess, and provide feedback to the Class Teacher
• Level 4 Higher Level Teaching Assistant Certificate
• Experience with the national curriculum, phonics, and in an educational setting
• Flexibility and creativity in supporting teaching
