£18,000-£23,000 Per annum - Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications

The role and school

Starting September 2024, as a HLTA you should be highly skilled with good knowledge of specific aspects of the curriculum. You will provide high-level support to the class in your care. Flexibility is expected as you will work across EY, KS1, and KS2. Responsibilities include working 1:1 and in small groups, ensuring pupils understand the work set, covering classes, PPA, and planning and teaching your own lessons. The school in Chadderton, Oldham, offers engaging learning experiences and is committed to authentic learning that leads to achievement for all. Requirements

Minimum requirements for the Higher-Level Teaching Assistant position include:

  • Ability to observe, assess, and provide feedback to the Class Teacher

  • Flexibility and creativity in supporting teaching
