I am working with a 2 form entry Primary School in the BS11 area of North Bristol who is looking for a HLTA to join their team from September.

The Role

This position being offered by the school is a full time opportunity from September where you will be working in collaboration with the Class Teachers to support SEN children on a 1 to 1 basis and within a small group.

The school is looking for individuals who have high expectations for their pupils and brings a positive, caring and patient attitude to the classroom environment.

You will be expected to:

  • Have great knowledge of the Primary curriculum.
  • Be adaptable and support children from all year groups.
  • Use your initiative and creativity to adapt activities.
  • Work closely with Class Teachers to support individual children.
  • Have experience working with ASD and SEMH needs.
