Job Title: Higher Level Teaching Assistant

Location: Bolton : BL3

Start Date: ASAP

Hours: 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM (30-minute lunch break)

Pay Rate: GBP 13.69 to GBP 15.83 per hour

Contract Type: Full-time, Long-term

About The Higher Level Teaching Assistant Role

• The Higher Level Teaching Assistant will support the class teacher and cover lessons when required.
• The Higher Level Teaching Assistant will support classroom routines, assist with planning where necessary, and assess pupil progress.
• The Higher Level Teaching Assistant will work collaboratively with teachers, senior leaders, and external professionals.

The Ideal Higher Level Teaching Assistant Will

• Have recent experience supporting students.
• Be confident supporting or delivering lessons in the teacher's absence.
• Be proactive, professional, and committed.
• Demonstrate excellent communication, organisation, and behaviour management skills.

Requirements For The Higher Level Teaching Assistant

• Valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
• Two references covering the last two years.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Availability for full-time, long-term work as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant.
