Job Description:

  • Support teaching and learning across the school, deliveringtargeted interventions,small group work, andwhole-class coverwhen required – you’ll be the right-hand star of the classroom!
  • Work closely with class teachers to plan and deliverengaging,differentiated activitiesthat meet the needs of all learners
  • Providepastoral supportand help pupils develop theirconfidence,independence, andresilience
  • Use a range ofassessment strategiesto monitor progress and inform next steps – because every child’s learning journey deserves a map
  • Support pupils withSEND,EAL, or additional needs, ensuring every child has the tools to succeed

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • HoldHLTA statusor be an experienced Teaching Assistant ready to take the next step (desirable but not essential)
  • Beenthusiastic,organised, andadaptable, with a can-do attitude and a love of learning
  • Have experience working with children in asecondary school setting, ideally across multiple year groups
  • Be confident in leading learning, managing behaviour positively, and supporting a range of needs
  • Demonstrate a commitment tosafeguarding,inclusive practice, andchild wellbeing
  • Be a team player who’s always ready to lend a hand – or a glue stick!
