Higher Level Teach Assistant (HLTA) - St Mary's Church of England School

Location: Aylesbury

Term time only

Salary Type: Bucks pay

Salary details: Bucks Pay Range 3 point 16-20 (dependent on experience). From £20,343 (Actual per year)

Contract type: Permanent

Hours: Monday to Friday (Term Time only + INSET days) – 8.30am to 3:30pm with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break

Job Purpose
  1. Work with class teachers to raise the learning and attainment of pupils and teach the class where required.
  2. Promote pupils’ independence, self-esteem, and social inclusion.
  3. Give support to pupils, individually or in groups, so they can access the curriculum, take part in learning, and experience a sense of achievement.
  4. Support children with Educational Healthcare Plans on a 1:1 basis as required.
About you

We are looking for a candidate who is brilliant with children and wants to join our enthusiastic team. You must have a minimum of grade C/4-5 in GCSE Maths and English and ideally your qualification as a HLTA.
