Higher Education Quality Manager

Certain Advantage is hiring for a Higher Education Quality Manager in Hull. The role is on a permanent basis on a hybrid basis.

The Company

We're working with a business that's a leading Further Education client in Hull.

The Role:

Collaborate closely with the Head of HE to conduct a variety of management responsibilities aligned with the role of Lead HE Quality Manager. Take a leading role in delivering the College's strategic vision to achieve outstanding outcomes for learners, employers, and community partners through the effective implementation of quality initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Ensure that quality processes are consistently implemented.
  2. Prepare and compile documentation and materials required for formal submission and approval by relevant Higher Education committees.
  3. Collaborate with the Research and Scholarship Manager to share and promote best practices in Teaching, Learning, and Assessment across the HE provisions.
  4. Oversee the induction of new staff, delivering a comprehensive and supportive coaching–based induction programme to ensure a smooth transition into their roles.
  5. Support key college events.
  6. Prepare reports as requested.
  7. Support internal and external audits.

The Individual

  1. Qualified to degree level.
  2. Previous experience in safeguarding training.
  3. Previous knowledge of FE Sector.
  4. Able to demonstrate improving quality of service and raising standards.
  5. Worked to Ofsted inspections in previous roles.
  6. Excellent leadership and critical thinking skills.
  7. Excellent analytical skills.
