Vale of Glamorgan Council is seeking a Higher Clerical Assistant to join the Shared Lives team in Barry. The role is a part-time, on-site position with a pro rata salary of £25,583 to £25,949 per year and pay rate £13.26 per hour.
You will handle databases/ spreadsheets, support the Team Manager and colleagues, and contribute to excellent public services in a busy office environment.
Shared Lives is a service within Adult Services in the Vale of Glamorgan County Council. We recruit Carers who have their own homes to support individuals with varying needs including learning disabilities, physical disabilities, autism, mental health issues and dementia.
Our assessed and trained Carers then open their own family home to the person needing support, both Carer and Individual are carefully matched.

Description: This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and organised individual to join the Shared Lives team as an administrator, creating and maintaining a number of databases relating to placements and community support. Good working knowledge of the relevant software will be essential. The postholder will also fulfil a support role to the Team Manager, Project Workers and other professionals.
