Job summary

Redline Group is seeking a Lead Validation & Verification Engineer for high voltage systems in London. The role drives system‑level VVQ, HV testing and embedded validation across internal teams and external test houses to ensure safety, reliability and performance.

You will develop test strategies, coordinate campaigns and lead issue resolution while mentoring engineers and coordinating with regulatory partners, ensuring standards compliance and robust qualification programs.

Qualifications

• Degree, HND or HNC in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience in embedded system testing, validation and qualification.
• Hands-on experience with high voltage power systems and safety-critical electronics.
• Strong ability to lead verification, validation and qualification plans and reports.
• Experience with test automation, HIL/SIL benches, and regulatory test coordination.

Responsibilities

• Lead verification, validation and qualification activities for high voltage systems and hardware/software.
• Develop VVQ plans, test strategies and qualification methodologies for embedded control systems.
• Define test architectures, interfaces and data flows for validation activities.
• Plan internal and external qualification campaigns including EMI/EMC and safety testing.
• Execute test plans, analyse results and generate technical reports.
• Prototype and commission new test rigs and automated solutions.
• Provide technical leadership to engineers and subcontractors.
