Job summary

Spellman High Voltage Electronics Corporation in West Sussex (Pulborough) seeks a Test Technician to verify production products using automatic test fixtures. You will test high-voltage power supplies to specification requirements and provide hands-on support for manufacturing activities, including basic mechanical tasks and assembly.

You will complete test reports, upgrade assemblies, and interpret changes through documentation while ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow test procedures accurately and meet standard times.
• Experience using test equipment such as oscilloscopes, function generators, digital power supplies and multimeters.
• Experience in high-voltage test methods.
• Experience in soldering and rework to IPC standards.
• Experience working in a lean manufacturing environment.
• Competent in MS Office.
• Knowledge of high voltage test methods is a distinct advantage.

Responsibilities

• Test high-voltage power supplies to specification requirements.
• Provide hands-on support for manufacturing activities, including basic mechanical assembly and component installation.
• Complete test reports and documentation per customer requirements and ISO standards.
• Upgrade and modification of assemblies and finished products.
• Interpret and implement changes to assemblies through documentation.
• Identify product quality and performance issues and raise non-conformances.
• Liaise with Design Engineering, Test Equipment Design and Sales to meet customer requirements and quality.
