Job Description

Job Title: HV Technician (Electrician)

Location: Portsmouth (HM Naval Base)

Service Area: Service Delivery, Control Room

Hours of Work: Shift Pattern including days/nights

What You’ll be doing:

As an Electrician, you’ll form part of the Electrical Distribution Team. You will be responsible for providing electrical supplies (50 and 60Hz) within Portsmouth Naval Base and surrounding Naval establishments. Your main responsibilities will include HV and LV maintenance throughout the PNB electrical network, as well as participating in project delivery teams.

You’ll Have:
  • An NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in electrical installation or a City and Guilds equivalent.
  • Ideally, BS7671 18th edition and BS2391 Test and Inspection qualifications.
  • A Full UK driving license.
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and Smartphones.
