Job Description:

I am looking to hire an HV Transformer Site Supervisor to join a leading manufacturer of High Voltage Transformers - 400kV.

The company is developing the core technologies necessary for establishing future electrical grids and has recently been expanding their presence across Europe, securing contracts with TSOs.

The ideal candidate will have experience in electrical construction, as well as in transformer installation, service, and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise installation and commissioning activities to ensure high productivity, efficient work practices, and compliance with National Grid & SPEN policies and procedures.
  • Conduct pre-site surveys before commencing work.
  • Participate in online and on-site meetings with clients and installers.
  • Assess and manage safety hazards, ensuring all team members are aware of potential hazards at the site.
  • Control documents including RAMS, ITP, STP, site work program, and HSE documents as per UK standards and client specifications.
  • Set goals for the site team and oversee projects to completion.
  • Conduct regular inspections and address hazards as needed.
