Job summary

Equans Data Centers seeks an experienced HV SAP to support safe operation, commissioning and transition into service of high-voltage electrical installations across UK data centre projects.

Based on-site, you will work with engineers, contractors and site teams to deliver compliant electrical operations within health and safety guidelines, including mentoring junior staff and supporting governance initiatives.

Qualifications

• HV Senior Authorised Person with 11kV capability and HV switching knowledge.
• Strong understanding of electrical safety rules and safe systems of work.
• Experience in data centres or critical infrastructure environments is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Undertake HV switching, isolation, earthing and restoration per Safety Rules.
• Fulfil HV SAP duties including documentation control and issue of safety records.
• Support HV commissioning, inspection and testing activities with safe energisation.
• Provide operational/technical support across HV and LV networks.
• Mentor developing authorised personnel and contribute to safety governance.

Job: Engineering Electricity Location: United Kingdom Offer ID: 92817Equans Data Centers is seeking an experienced High Voltage Senior Authorised Person (HV SAP) to support the safe operation, commissioning and transition into service of high-voltage electrical installations across major UK projects.Working in critical environments, including data centres and pharmaceutical facilities, the High Voltage Senior Authorised Person ((HV SAP) will provide practical technical and operational expertise across HV and LV distribution systems.
