Job summary
Ipsum is seeking a Project Manager for High Voltage LV to 132kV projects in the UK, with regular office visits to Wakefield. The role focuses on safe, commercial, and successful delivery from inception through energisation and handover.
You will lead multidisciplinary teams, coordinate with DNOs/IDNOs and National Grid stakeholders, ensuring on-time, within-budget delivery and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Project Manager within an Independent Connection Provider (ICP).
- Experience delivering HV projects up to 132kV.
- Strong understanding of DNO and IDNO connection processes.
- Knowledge of G81, NERS, ENA, and CDM requirements.
- Experience managing subcontractors and multidisciplinary delivery teams.
- Commercial and contract management experience.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
Responsibilities
- Lead multidisciplinary project teams to deliver HV infrastructure projects from inception to energisation and handover.
- Coordinate with Distribution Network Operators (DNOs), Independent Distribution Network Operators (IDNOs), National Grid stakeholders, clients and subcontractors.
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and compliant with regulatory and industry standards.
- Oversee design activities and technical reviews; manage commissioning and energisation planning.
