Pertemps is seeking a High Voltage Maintenance Delivery Manager to lead a team at various locations in Oxford. This role involves overseeing electrical maintenance, ensuring safety compliance, and providing technical leadership. Applicants should hold a degree in electrical engineering and have substantial experience within the utility sector, with a strong emphasis on safety and operational efficiency.
We are seeking an experienced High Voltage Maintenance Delivery Manager to be based either at our Oxford, Maple Lodge, Basingstoke or Hampton Treatment Works, depending on your location.
As the successful candidate, you will lead a team of Electrical Engineers/Senior Authorised Persons, providing operation, maintenance, and fault-finding activities on high voltage and primary low voltage systems. This includes the overall responsibility to ensure that the installation of significant electrical assets is controlled by adequate arrangements for construction, commissioning, and handover, in accordance with the TWUL asset standards.
At Thames Water, we operate a significant number of high voltage (HV) and low voltage (LV) electrical power networks. These assets are central to water production and waste treatment for our 16 million customers.
To maintain the safe and reliable operation of these electrical assets, a high level of knowledge and skills in electrical technology, safety procedures, and providing expert support to core operations is required. The teams involved in frontline operation and maintenance need continuous technical support for maintenance, fault investigation, solutions implementation, asset upgrades, and incident investigation.
This role requires frequent engagement with stakeholders from Operations, Engineering, Capital Delivery, and Health, Safety, and Wellbeing functions.
Oxford STW, Maple Lodge STW, Basingstoke STW, or Hampton WTW.
36 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with additional out-of-hours support rota compensated separately.
