Job summary

Adler and Allan is seeking an experienced High Voltage (HV) Operative to join our nationwide team. You will be responsible for safe installation, testing and commissioning of HV and LV network assets, aligned with project scope and regulatory standards.

The role involves working on substations, commercial developments and industrial sites across the UK, coordinating with projects teams, engineers and clients, with travel and some overnight stays expected.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering HV/LV works on contestable networks.
• AP authorisation for 11kV networks is essential.
• Nationwide travel with overnight stays required.
• Safety-focused with strong technical knowledge.
• Valid UK driving licence and DNO/IDNO compliance.

Responsibilities

• Install, test and commission HV and LV network assets safely.
• Work on substations, renewables and private networks across the UK.
• Maintain site records, test sheets and as-built information.
• Coordinate with engineers, project managers and third parties.
• Undertake HV switching, isolation and safety documentation duties.
