Job summary

Agricultural Recruitment Specialists are seeking a Livestock Manager (Stud Farm Manager) in Belfast to lead operations at a modern, high-tech facility. You will have overall responsibility for site performance, livestock management and team leadership, ensuring output targets are achieved.

You will oversee stud farm operations, drive performance, manage livestock health and welfare, and lead a team including two Team Leaders with around 16 direct/indirect staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification.
• Legal right to work in the UK or hold a valid visa.
• Full clean driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all stud farm operations and drive performance targets.
• Lead a team with 2 Team Leaders and ~16 other staff.
• Ensure livestock health, nutrition and welfare to maximise production.
• Collaborate with Vet and laboratory to optimise production.
• Maintain robust data recording and biosecurity standards.
