Job summary

Randstad Inhouse Services is seeking high-speed packing line operatives for our client based in West Thurrock, Grays, Essex. This long-term temporary role involves operating a high-speed packing line on rotating shifts.

You will work in a small team, ensure correct placement of empty cases, and adhere to safety procedures. Pay rate is £18.02 per hour including shift allowance, with weekly pay and on-site parking.

Qualifications

• A team player, able to work with others.
• Able to communicate effectively with colleagues and other stakeholders
• Willingness to take ownership and see tasks through to completion and ensuring a high standard at all times in your work.
• High attention to detail and experience of taking a disciplined approach to your work to ensure concentration and focus for long periods of time
• Good standard of numeracy and literacy

Responsibilities

• You will be responsible for the correct placement of empty cases onto the high speed packing line, you will be lifting bundles up to 25kg.
• Working in team of 3, responsible for 6 packing lines
• Replenishing cap and glue products to the line
• You will be trained to operate a case erecting machine
• You will adhere to lock out tag out process (isolating from hazardous energy)
• Adhering to quality procedures
• Keeping your work area clean, tidy and organised
