About Sentara Norfolk General Hospital

Located in Norfolk, VA, Sentara Norfolk General Hospital is a 525-bed tertiary care facility, home to the only Level I Adult Trauma Center and burn trauma unit in Hampton Roads. It serves as the primary teaching hospital for Eastern Virginia Medical School.

Our hospital offers high-quality programs such as the Sentara Heart Hospital, Nightingale Regional Air Ambulance, and specialized services.
