Job summary

DARA People is seeking an experienced Blind Installer for a live high-rise development in Manchester. The 5-day contract covers installing curtains and tracks throughout the development, with site induction and an on-site parking facility. The role starts on 24 August 2026 and pays £230 per day CIS.

Preference is given to candidates with blind/curtain installation experience, though carpentry backgrounds with relevant installation know-how are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Valid CSCS card.
• Previous blind/curtain or track installation experience preferred.
• Alternatively strong carpentry/joinery background with installation experience.

Responsibilities

• Install curtains and curtain tracks across apartments.
• Complete approximately 245 installations on project.
• Measure, position and fix tracks securely.
• Fix into plasterboard and timber fixtures.
• Use basic hand and power tools safely.
• Work efficiently to the installation programme.
• Maintain high workmanship and finish.
• Follow site health and safety requirements.
• Work within an occupied/live construction site.
