About the job you're considering

Capgemini Engineering is seeking a dynamic, team-focused High Performance Materials Engineer specializing in composite materials to join our team. Your role will support operations for both industry-leading and emerging aerospace companies.

Hybrid working: Your work location will vary between company offices, client sites, and your home, depending on your role and needs. Note that full-time remote work is not available.

If offered this position, you will undergo pre-employment checks including identity, nationality or immigration status, employment history for the past 3 years, and a criminal record check (Disclosure and Barring Service).

Your Role

You will work on-site or remotely with clients, playing a key role in delivering projects. Your expertise will support topics such as carbon fibre primary structures, aerospace metallic materials, and manufacturing principles.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Developing materials design guidance, focusing on:

• Composite materials / Reinforced Plastic

• Defining, planning, and executing test campaigns
• Creating and maintaining material compatibility and surface protection practices

Your Security Clearance
