Witherslack Group is seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant for Luxborough Court School, a dedicated SEND setting for pupils aged 5–19 with Autistic Spectrum Disorder. You will support learners in lessons, helping them develop skills and self-esteem while working with a resilient, dedicated team.

Qualifications

• Significant experience as a Teaching assistant.
• HLTA qualification or equivalent is required.
• Demonstrated ability to plan meetings and work with teachers to support learning.

Responsibilities

• Support children with Autistic Spectrum Disorder/Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs in lessons.
• Liaise with teachers to devise complementary learning activities.
• Contribute to a safe, engaging learning environment and track progress.
