The Supply Register is recruiting High Level Teaching Assistants (HLTA) for South London in partnership with Step Trust. Flexible & long-term roles across partner schools provide ongoing opportunities for experienced HLTA candidates.

Responsibilities include leading lessons, providing 1:1 and small-group support, and promoting an inclusive learning environment while working with teachers to plan targeted interventions and maintain high standards of pupil wellbeing.

Qualifikationen

• HLTA qualification or recognised equivalent.
• Strong classroom experience.
• Ability to lead lessons and manage groups.

• Lead whole-class learning and deliver lessons in the absence of the class teacher.
• Support planning, learning activities and targeted interventions with teachers.

The Supply Register is working in partnership with Step Trust as their Managed Service Provider (MSP), supporting schools across the trust with their staffing requirements and recruiting experienced HLTAs for a range of opportunities.

Whether you re looking for a full-time position, flexible supply work or a longer-term role, we can connect you with opportunities that match your experience, skills and availability.

We re looking for HLTAs who:

• Hold a HLTA qualification or recognised equivalent
• Have strong classroom experience and are confident supporting learning across a range of year groups
• Can confidently lead lessons or whole-class activities when required
• Are proactive, adaptable and committed to supporting pupils to achieve their potential

Please note: these roles are specifically for qualified HLTA or previous HLTA roles.

The Role

As an HLTA, you may be required to:

• Lead whole-class learning and deliver lessons in the absence of the class teacher
• Work alongside teachers to support planning, learning activities and targeted interventions
• Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with a range of learning needs
• Promote positive behaviour, independence, wellbeing and an inclusive learning environment
