Pertemps Bond is recruiting for experienced High-Level Order Picker Operators based in Brierley Hill. The role involves picking stock from high-level locations using a powered order picker, working safely to meet targets, and ensuring accuracy in order fulfilment.

The ideal candidate will hold a valid high-level order picker licence, have proven experience in a warehouse setting, and be comfortable working at height and to tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Valid high-level order picker licence is essential.
• Previous experience operating a high-level order picker is essential.
• Strong warehouse and order picking experience.
• Confident working at height in a busy distribution environment.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Capable of working to targets and deadlines.
• Flexible to the required Tuesday to Sunday shift pattern.

Responsibilities

• Operate a high-level order picker/picker truck to pick stock from racking.
• Work safely at height while retrieving stock from high-level locations.
• Accurately pick customer orders using warehouse systems and picking instructions.
• Locate stock efficiently and prepare orders for dispatch.
• Check product codes, quantities and order details.
• Move stock safely around the warehouse.
• Meet daily targets and deadlines.
• Carry out stock checks and report discrepancies.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
• Follow all warehouse health and safety procedures.

Long-term temporary with a view to permanent
37.5 hours per week

Pertemps are currently recruiting for experienced High-Level Order Picker Operators to join a busy warehouse and distribution operation based in Brierley Hill.

This is a long-term opportunity with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. The successful applicant will be responsible for accurately picking stock from high-level locations using a powered order picker, working safely and efficiently to meet warehouse targets.

The role:

• Operating a high-level order picker/picker truck to pick stock from warehouse racking
• Working safely at height while retrieving stock from high-level locations
• Accurately picking customer orders using warehouse systems and picking instructions
• Locating stock efficiently and preparing orders for dispatch
• Checking product codes, quantities and order details
• Moving stock safely around the warehouse
• Working to daily targets and deadlines
• Carrying out stock checks and reporting any discrepancies
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment
• Following all warehouse health and safety procedures

Hours and pay:

• Tuesday to Saturday: 9am – 6pm
• Sunday: 11am – 5pm
• 37.5 hours per week
• £13.50 per hour
