Job Description:

Reporting to the President of EMEA, the role will:

  1. HNW Client Development and Prospection:
    • Build and implement effective strategies to prospect HNWI and UHNWI.
    • Participate in the HNWI social calendar and penetrate ultra-rich networks to recruit new HJ clients.
    • Identify VIP customers of other jewelry brands, create outreach strategies, and execute outreach.
    • Introduce client portfolios to the brand.
    • Provide weekly/monthly reports on outreach contacts.
  2. High Jewelry (HJ) Business Development Strategy:
    • Define and implement the HJ Business Development strategy, including event calendar, stock allocation, and coordination with marketing, merchandising, and product teams.
    • Provide feedback on HJ collections, market trends, client requests, diamond sourcing, and special orders.
    • Assist stores with follow-up on HJ requests, negotiations, and sales to maximize success.
    • Act as a go-to for best price requests and advise on price negotiations.
    • Monitor and manage store HJ targets.
  3. VIP Customer Relationship Management:
    • Analyze VIP client portfolios across stores.
    • Collaborate with store directors on VIP entertainment strategies.
    • Support Brand Ambassadors in discovering and building relationships with high-potential and VIP clients.
    • Enhance the HJ selling capabilities of store teams.
    • Support global best practice development and sharing, working closely with the Global Sales VP and Client team.
Qualifications:
  • Strong experience in luxury jewelry industry.
  • Deep understanding of brand, products, stones, HJ, history, and services.
  • Knowledge of the HNWI market and habits.
  • Commercial instinct, socialite background, multicultural awareness.
  • Creative outreach strategies for HNWI and VIP clients.
  • Existing client portfolio outside De Beers.
  • Experience in HJ sales and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Coaching ability to develop others.
  • Customer-centric with a passion for excellent service.
  • Proficiency in at least three languages; four preferred.
  • Self-motivated, autonomous, energetic, proactive, results-oriented.
  • Ability to multitask and work in an agile environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; Salesforce knowledge is a plus.
