A healthcare provider in Doncaster is looking for a High Dependency Unit Ward Manager. The successful candidate will lead a 16-bed service that supports patients with complex mental health issues. Responsibilities include providing clinical leadership, ensuring effective risk management, and fostering a multi-disciplinary approach. Candidates should be a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) or Registered Nurse for Learning Disabilities (RNLD) with relevant experience and qualifications. This role aims to enhance the quality of mental healthcare in the region.

We are delighted to announce a new 16 bed service based in Doncaster that will welcome patients from Rotherham, Doncaster and North Lincolnshire.
The unit with support patients with complex mental health with a focus on rehabilitation, patients may be in the service for up to 12 months and through a multi-professional approach will receive recovery focussed care.

The post holder will provide professional, managerial and robust clinical leadership to a specified ward area.
The post holder is responsible for promoting and assuring robust risk assessment and management processes.
The post holder will provide financial management within the constraints of the identified budget, as directed by the Matron.
The post holder will actively support and participate in the integration of a whole system approach with multi-disciplinary working at all times.
The post holder will perform delegated duties on behalf of the Matron in their absence.
The post holder will ensure everyone, including staff, patients and visitors, has their right to be treated with respect and have their values and beliefs maintained and that they treated in such a way that maintains their privacy and dignity.
