Overview

Are you an experienced horticultural professional with a passion for maintaining high-quality outdoor spaces? We are looking for a skilled and motivated individual to join our Grounds Maintenance team. You will bring a solid background in horticulture or arboriculture, ideally backed by NVQ Level 2 or 3 qualifications, and hands-on experience using a wide range of equipment, from chainsaws to spraying tools. A full UK driving licence is essential, along with a sharp eye for identifying tree species, shrubs, and turf pests and diseases.

Responsibilities
  • Work across parks, green spaces, and recreational areas to maintain high standards for public use.
  • Operate and maintain industry-standard machinery safely and effectively.
  • Demonstrate strong customer care and clear communication with the team and wider community.
  • Lead by example, using motivational techniques to bring out the best in others.
Qualifications
  • Background in horticulture or arboriculture, with NVQ Level 2 or 3 qualifications preferred.
