Job summary

Driver Hire Bedford & Huntingdon is seeking HIAB Drivers (Class 1/2) to cover clients across the region. You will operate HIAB-equipped vehicles, handle loading/unloading, and deliver with a focus on safety and customer service.

Applicants should hold a full Class 1/2 licence with HIAB entitlement, CPC & Tachograph cards, and up to 6 points. Overtime is available, with temp-to-perm opportunities in our driving network.

Qualifications

• Full Class 1/2 UK manual licence with in date valid HIAB entitlement.
• Full CPC & Tachograph Card.
• No more than 6 points on your licence.
• Good customer service and good communication skills.
• Be prepared for manual handling and heavy lifting tasks.
• 6 months' previous experience preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Drive Class 1/2 HIAB vehicles to client sites across the region.
• Load/unload goods with HIAB and ensure loads are secure.
• Provide reliable, safe, and courteous service to clients.

Class 1/2 HIAB Drivers

Driver Hire Bedford & Huntingdon requires HIAB Drivers, both Class 1 and 2 to cover a number of clients across our region. We work with clients from a multitude of industries who are always on the lookout for the best talent on the market.

We can get you in front of the right client in the field of your expertise whether that be in construction using Brick Grab or moving Heavy Plant using Hook.

• £18.50 - £21.50 per hour including holiday pay

As a HGV HIAB Driver you must:

• Full Class 1/2 UK manual licence with in date valid HIAB entitlement.
• Full CPC & Tacho Card.
• No more than 6pts on your Licence
• Have good customer service and good communication skills
• Be prepared for manual handling and heavy lifting tasks.
• 6 Months Previous experience preferred but not Essential.
