Job summary

Ashvale Haulage, part of M O’Brien Group, is seeking an experienced HIAB Driver to cover the St Albans area. You will operate a HIAB-equipped vehicle for deliveries and collections, load and unload using the crane, and ensure loads are secure while maintaining safety standards.

You will perform daily vehicle checks, complete paperwork, and provide on-site customer service. A valid Cat C licence, HIAB qualification, Driver CPC, and Tachograph card are essential, with construction/materials

Qualifications

• Must have valid UK driving licence (Cat C).
• HIAB qualification and delivery experience required.
• Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card essential.
• Knowledge of load security and safe lifting practices.
• Positive attitude with good communication and strong work ethic.
• Experience in construction, aggregates or building materials delivery is advantageous.

Requirements

• Full UK Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.

• Valid HIAB qualification and relevant experience.

• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.

• Good knowledge of load security and safe lifting practices.

• A positive attitude, good communication skills and a strong work ethic.

• Previous experience in construction, aggregates or building materials delivery would be advantageous.
