Are you an experienced Hiab Grab Driver seeking long-term work? Look no further! GCU, a successful contractor in the Utilities, Telecommunications, Civil Engineering, and Traffic Management sectors, is looking for talented individuals to join our team across the Highlands and Islands of Scotland. Accommodation will be provided.

Your Role:
  1. Transport aggregates and materials efficiently and safely.
  2. Support site staff with material couriering and collection.
  3. Safely remove and dispose of spoil and waste materials.
  4. Collaborate with planning, management, and on-site teams.
  5. Operate vehicles in tight utility sites, complying with sector procedures and regulations.
  6. Perform daily vehicle checks to ensure safety and performance.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Valid license to operate a Hiab Grab Truck.
  • Experience in Utilities or Telecommunications sectors.
  • Knowledge of Chapter 8 requirements.
  • Desirable: NRSWA Operative ticket.
