HHR- Cook/Dietary Assistant

Hours: Part time with the possibility of full-time hours with additional opportunities.

Job Summary:

The assistant is responsible for all phases of meal preparation and planning. The job requires supervision of all dietary personnel when the director is not present. The assistant cook must maintain a clean and aesthetic environment of the kitchen and dining room.

The role involves direct interaction with residents, staff, and volunteers. The assistant will prepare Meals on Wheels and interact with volunteers for meal delivery. Proper sanitation and safety procedures must be observed at Historic Homes of Runnemede. After all three meals, the cook will ensure that the kitchen and dining room are left clean and orderly. The job requires the candidate to have direct interaction with residents while serving meals and cleaning up the dining room, with the assistance of other staff.
