HGV2 Dust Cart Driver – Immediate Start

Location: Buntingford
Job Type: Temporary / Ongoing / Temp to Perm
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, Early Starts (typically 6:00 AM)
Pay Rate: £17.35 per hour PAYE

Role Overview:

We are currently seeking an experienced HGV2 Dust Cart Driver to join a reputable waste management team. You will be responsible for driving a dust cart and working alongside a crew to complete daily waste collection routes across residential or commercial areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate an HGV Class 2 (Category C) dust cart
• Work closely with loaders to complete timely collections
• Follow designated routes and schedules
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and report defects
• Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations

Requirements:

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
• Previous experience in waste/recycling or multi-drop driving preferred
• Newly Qualified accepted
• Good customer service and teamwork skills
• Comfortable with early starts and physical work
