Job summary

M4 Recruitment is seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join our team in Portbury. The role involves delivering frozen goods to various customers, completing 7–15 drops per shift, and ensuring safe, on-time deliveries.

You will hold a UK Class 2 licence, CPC, Digital Tachograph Card, and have at least 2 years of driving experience. Weekly pay, flexible shifts, and a supportive environment are offered.

Qualifications

HGV Class 2 Driver

Location: Portbury

Start Time: Between 4:00am and 8:00am

Pay Rate: £16.00 - £17.00 per hour

The Role

M4 Recruitment is currently recruiting for experienced HGV Class 2 Drivers based in Portbury. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a leading supplier delivering frozen goods to a range of customers including care homes, schools, local authorities, and hospitals.

As a Driver, you will be responsible for completing between 7 and 15 deliveries per day, ensuring goods are delivered safely, professionally, and on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver frozen goods to customers across designated routes
• Complete 7-15 drops per shift
• Load, unload, and manoeuvre cages safely
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and ensure roadworthiness
• Provide excellent customer service at delivery points
• Complete all relevant paperwork and compliance requirements

Requirements

• Hold a valid UK Class 2 (Category C) licence for a minimum of 2 years (insurance requirement)
• Previous HGV driving experience is essential
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Good level of physical fitness due to regular manual handling of cages
• Reliable, professional, and safety-conscious approach to work
