Join Our Client as an Experienced HGV2 Driver in Hoddesdon

Streamline Recruitment is excited to partner with a leading client based in Hoddesdon to find 8 skilled HGV2 drivers. If you have a passion for driving and delivering excellence, especially within the chilled food sector, we want to hear from you!

About the Role

• Days: Tuesday to Saturday.
• Start times: Early mornings from 03:00 to 07:00 hours.
• Potential to earn over £47,000 per annum, Basis 48 hours per week across 4 days.
• Interview Process: Online Interview then for successful candidates a Face-to-Face Interview at the client’s site.
• Comprehensive training on routes, restaurant locations, and handling goods, with ongoing support to ensure your success.
• Delivery Area: London and the Home Counties, with around 5 drops, depending on mileage.
• Due to the nature of the role you must be physically fit and be experienced in manual handling.

Job Responsibilities:

• Delivering chilled and frozen goods using cages and pallets
• Transporting cages to restaurant fridges/freezers
• Organizing palletised goods into cages for efficient delivery

What We’re Looking For

• Experience:Minimum: 18 months HGV2 driving experience.Preferred: Experience with refrigerated vehicles and food deliveries.
• Licensing:Points: Maximum of 6 penalty points.Endorsements: No major endorsements.
• Skills & Knowledge:Manual handling expertise.Familiarity with the Working Time Directive and EU driving hours regulations.Strong understanding of safe driving practices.
• Personal Attributes:Professional and well-mannered demeanour.Excellent customer service skills.Ability to interact positively with clients and the general public.
