Job summary

Pertemps Milton Keynes is seeking HGV Class 2 drivers in Milton Keynes for long-term temporary roles with potential permanent opportunities. Expect deliveries of caged food products to Domino’s stores in the local area.

Shifts are on a 4‑shift week with 12 hours guaranteed per shift and overtime paid at time and a half. Required are an HGV Class 2 license with Category C, Full CPC, and a Digital Tachograph Card, with up to 5 drops per shift and strict adherence to hours and tachograph rules.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Delivering caged food products and ingredients to Domino’s stores across the local area.

• Provide professional customer service at each delivery.
• Ensure full compliance with driver hours and tachograph regulations.

What will you be doing?

You’ll be delivering caged food products and ingredients to Domino’s stores across the local area.

• Up to 5 drops per shift
• Modern fleet
• Caged deliveries
• Vehicle checks and delivery paperwork
• Professional customer service at each delivery
• Full compliance with driver hours and tachograph legislation

Who are we looking for?

We’re looking for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver with at least 6 months’ HGV Class 2 experience.

• Valid HGV Class 2 / Category C licence
• Full CPC
• Digital Tachograph Card
• Minimum 6 months HGV Class 2 driving experience
• No more than 6 penalty points
• Good knowledge of drivers’ hours and tachograph regulations
• Reliable and professional approach

Don’t have any Class 2 experience yet?

If you have 7.5 Tonne driving experience, you can still apply. We’d be happy to consider experienced 7.5 Tonne Drivers looking to move into Class 2.

Your working week

• 12 hours guaranteed pay every shift
• 4 shifts per week

October intake - assessments starting 5th October

We’re now taking applications for our October intake.

Successful applicants will complete:

• 4-hour driving assessment
• 8-hour induction on a separate day

Assessments and inductions will take place during the week commencing 5th October.
