Job Opportunity: Class 1 Relief Driver

Driver Hire Newcastle & Sunderland is recruiting a Class 1 relief driver for our national client based in Sunderland. This role offers a great opportunity for full-time, permanent employment with a reputable company and attractive benefits.

Role Overview:

• Support the region with holiday cover, vacancies, training, and sickness absences.
• Travel required; own transport necessary. Mileage paid as expense.
• Expect nights away; hotel and food provided. No sleeping in cabs.
• Deliver modular buildings for temporary or permanent use.

Salary and Schedule:

£35,433 annually. Working week from Monday to Friday, with flexible hours depending on location. Overtime paid after 40 hours.

Requirements:

• Category C+E/Class 1 driving license entitlement.
• Allmi HIAB hook loader experience.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph.
• Meet insurance requirements.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Flexibility in working hours.
