Job summary

Pertemps Milton Keynes is recruiting HGV1 and HGV2 drivers for a leading distribution client based in Northampton. You'll deliver palletised goods and handle deliveries across London and surrounding areas, with a focus on safety, on-time performance, and professional service.

We offer regular ongoing work with fixed shift patterns, weekly pay, and immediate starts for suitable candidates who hold valid licences and CPC. Typical shifts start between 04:00 and 12:00, with about 50 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV1 (C+E) or HGV2 (Category C) Licence.
• Driver CPC qualification required.
• Digital tachograph card required.
• Minimum 12 months' experience in your licence category.
• No more than 6 penalty points and no disqualifying endorsements.
• Professional, reliable and customer-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

• Deliver palletised goods across London and surrounding areas.
• Complete delivery paperwork and carry out daily vehicle checks.
• Follow all driver compliance procedures and provide excellent customer service.
• For HGV1, pump truck unloading may be required.
