QS Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 driver for a trunking role between Regional and National Distribution Centres. There are no multi-drop deliveries, and you will ensure loads are transported safely, efficiently and at the required temperature.

You will monitor refrigeration units and maintain temperatures while performing paperwork and compliance tasks. You will seal rear doors, report issues promptly, supervise loading/unloading, and conduct regular vehicle checks in line

Qualifications

• Experienced HGV Class 1 driver.
• Trunking between RDCs and NDCs with no multi-drop.
• Ability to monitor refrigerated units and maintain temperatures.

Responsabilités

• Complete temperature-controlled deliveries safely and efficiently.
• Trunk loads between RDCs and NDCs, with no multi-drop deliveries.
• Seal and unseal vehicle rear doors in accordance with company procedures.
• Monitor refrigeration units throughout each journey and ensure required temperatures are maintained.
• Report any temperature discrepancies or refrigeration issues promptly to the depot.
• Safely couple and uncouple trailers in line with company procedures.
• Supervise the loading and unloading of goods.
• Maintain accurate delivery paperwork, records and documentation.
• Carry out all duties in accordance with road transport legislation, company policies and health & safety procedures.
• Complete vehicle and trailer checks and report any defects or issues appropriately.
